Frontier Testing and Measurement Services: Unleash the Ultimate Audio Performance of Your Headphones

Testing and measurement capabilities are the foundation for designing and manufacturing high-quality headphones and audio systems. Our testing capabilities are comprehensive and in-depth, equipped with the most advanced equipment and methodologies in the industry. With clear insights provided by precise analysis tools such as Klippel, our engineers can design and manufacture products with superior performance, higher consistency, faster development, and greater cost-effectiveness for you.
Advanced Precision Testing Technology

Unique precision measurement tools (such as scanning laser vibrometers) enable design engineers to observe the vibration behavior of the diaphragm at the microscopic level under simulated real-use conditions of large signals. Traditional frequency response curves (FR) and total harmonic distortion (THD) measurements only reveal a fraction of the performance. Without observation, there is no way to improve - this is equally important for micro-acoustic devices as it is for large systems. We use advanced laser measurement tools to observe the microscopic mechanical movements of the unit under its actual working conditions.

Through our state-of-the-art analysis system, we are able to identify problems, analyze the root causes and find solutions. With clear scientific analysis, we no longer rely on the inefficient "trial-and-error - listen - adjust" cycle development model, thereby shortening the product launch time by several weeks or even months.

Our engineers are well-versed in how to utilize these devices to extract every bit of crucial data, helping you achieve better performance while controlling costs.

Core Testing and Measurement Capabilities:

Full parameter analysis system: Used for measuring linear parameters (such as T/S parameters), large signal parameters, total harmonic distortion (THD), intermodulation distortion (IMD), temperature rise characteristics, impedance curves, power tolerance, maximum output sound pressure (limited by distortion or compression threshold), and power response, etc.
Near-field scanning system: A revolutionary tool used to measure the three-dimensional sound radiation characteristics of headphone systems. The measurement is automatically completed around the tested device on a user-defined grid. The software then analyzes and synthesizes the data at each point, and extrapolates to calculate the far-field sound field at any specified distance. This tool is particularly effective for evaluating the performance of products such as in-ear headphones and over-ear headphones, whose axial measurements cannot fully reflect the actual listening experience.
Specialized small component testing solution: For small transducers such as micro speakers and microphones, we have a dedicated testing environment and methods to separate the effects of air and pure mechanical mechanics, thereby obtaining more fundamental performance parameters of the components.
High-speed full inspection equipment: In a noisy production environment, the high-speed automated testing stand can 100% detect defective units (such as worn rings, abnormal sounds, and various other flaws), ensuring the consistency of the products leaving the factory.
Other Professional Testing Tools and Capabilities Include:

SoundCheck audio testing system: Precisely measures various distortion data of speakers, such as total harmonic distortion, intermodulation distortion, and each order of harmonics.
Automated Life Testing System: Measures the long-term and short-term power tolerance of products, and assesses their durability and reliability.
Scanning Laser Vibrometer: Helps visualize the vibration and acoustic behavior of transducers, cavities, baffles and other components throughout the entire audio range.
Linear and nonlinear parameter measurement module: Measures linear, nonlinear and thermal parameters as well as 3D displacement, and conducts a complete distortion test.
Component characteristic measurement: Measuring the linear and nonlinear movements of components such as diaphragm rings and centering spacers, as well as the parameter characteristics of the materials (such as Young's modulus).
